Finally gave in and bought a Wanted ASA 28oz. Weighed out at a little over 29. I loved the end load. Feels almost exactly like a 30oz SB98 FL that I picked up on here, which is nice.
Today was my first time hitting it and I thought it seemed to have good pop.
I'm still working on my mechanics. I'm a big guy and I like to rely on my arms too much. Even with my jacked up swing, I was hitting 280-290. It felt nice hitting some liners with it as well. Exit speed seemed to be there right from the first hit. I may have 100 total. I'm excited to see it open up some. If I could fix up this swing by next season, I'll be good to go.
