OK, 10-4 Joker. HAve you ever tried hot water on a glove? I have to admit I'm def going to use this method going forward one more gloves. Really helps deepen the pocket without adding any weight like conditioners have the possibility to do.

Yes, I watched Aso do his famous methods with warm water. He mentions not to use really hot water, I'm guessing he says that just because it will probably hurt and burn your hand?

Cold water is a hazard b/c it helps close the pores of the leather which is not good. It is also not good to let any kind of water, warm or hot, sit in/on the glove without giving it a good pounding or maneuvering. The pounding with a mallet helps expel the water out of the pores and break in the glove. Water that sits on the glove for a while clogs/closes those pores and harden the glove in a bad way.

Good question Howard, currently my MC24 has a bigger pocket and that is due to it being game ready and playable. The 1781 is mint and still pretty still. I think once they're both in the same playing condition the MC will still play bigger do to the web on it. Great question btw.

well, BAL is the toughest defense to run against in Fantasy going into week one and a new set of coaches worries me a bit.

I like both but Lynch might be a better option. SEA has had trouble with STL the past few meetings, especially in STL. I think it its a tight game and SEA holds a slim lead it could me a lot of late touches for Lynch and he may break a few off for a ton of late points. Your choice though, good luck.

BTW, I heard both enjoy the hot water method when breaking in a glove.

I hear ya. Exposure sure, but I'm also not Aso himself, 99% of us aren't. This is a look at a normal player trying his techniques and the results of it. Right?

Having the video of Aso, a professional glove guru, and an average Joe both use this method is very beneficial. Now I can compare and contrast techniques and methods the next time I want to dump a cup of hot water on my glove.

Any slow-motion closeups? I can't seem to get the subtleties of the method right. Also, any training drills would help.
