Are short barrels supposed to have better performance than long barrels?

We had a guy take a shot to the mouth in co-ed ball this past week. Rec ball is the worst about hitting the middle, a lot of guys at that level have no bat control. Pitch those guys outside and they try to pull it and hit it back up the middle because they can't hit it opposite field.

It gets confusing Easton coming out with a new FF every 6 months.

Just to let you guys know I liked the Evil Balls enough to order a dozen for my co-ed team.
