To much end load for me I have watched Capt Mark crush bombs with his nightmare at Woodlawn. I tried some Demos and the bat has to much endload for me. I could not find the sweet spot. Some of us mere humans need a balanced bat.

I have a 28 OZ Gates Veteran that has been sitting in my basement for a while. Starting using it for batting practice at end of last year. I now have over 300 swings on the bat, but still is a log. I will be using it again as my batting practice bat this year. Will this bat ever break in?
