2016 Steel 30oz. weighs 28.3oz.

Bought a 30oz. 2016 Steel and decided to put it on the scale and it's weighing in at 28.3oz

Anyone else have the new 2016 Steel and can verify their bat weight to actual weight?

Had a 26 that weighted at 26.5

Demarini is telling me some nonsense of allowable tolerances being +/- 1.5 oz.
If in fact that is the case all they need to do is offer a 28oz and due to the above tolerances you may get close to a 26 or close to a 30. Nevertheless if I want to try and get a 30oz I need to pay for shipping of this bat back to them. Unreal!!

26oz is 27.3 on the scale w/lizard skin
28oz is 28.5 on the scale w/stock grip

Steel's have always been awful with weighting. I had a 2012 26oz white steel and 2012 28oz white steel, the 26oz weighed more than the 28oz and they were both in the 28's. Demarini 30's tend to come in less than 29oz as well.

Heat is exactly right. I have 26s and 28s that come in at 27 oz. I feel like they just made a bunch steels and randomly threw weight stickers on them.
