Only have about 150 hits on mine and so far no kind of signs of wear or tear but some ball marks.

I have 150+ swings on mine (28 oz.) and its webbing up nicely and going strong. I hit for power and have been able to see distances in the 350-380' range. It's a great bat and on par with the Worth AT18 and a step behind my Adidas Red 2-piece end-loaded 12". I do like a heavier bat and that may explain why the Adidas (29.5 oz.) is a step ahead. You can't go wrong with any of these sticks. All are a blast (pun intended) to swing. Hopefully we are able to get out and play this sport that we all know and love safely.

It is hot....but I just unwrapped my backup 26 and put maybe 80 swings on it yesterday...a couple webs started and it's not far behind the 500 swing "gamer" !

Sounds great, I have about 150 on mine but from the 10th hit on its been one of the sickest bats I have had in my hands.

I currently swing a 27 ounce 2016 Miken Big Cat (full ounce end load, with a 14" barrel). Although the JB has only a half ounce end load, will a 12" barrel shift more weight towards the end -- effectively making the bat swing heavier than the same bat with a 14" barrel & half ounce EL? I've always swung 14" barrels, so this JB will be a change for me.
I'm trying to decide whether to get the JB at 26oz or 27oz. My current Big Cat is at the limit of what I can swing, weight-wise. Based on the quote above, it sounds like I should go with the 27oz JB.
27 would be my recommendation..

that diagonal spiral and vertical webs are normal. a vertical crack will eventually form from the vertical web but it keeps going even then...love mine
God I hope they don't f---k up the JB by trying to improve it. This is the best Miken I've seen in years.

To the guys who currently swing the JB - do any of you swing other 12" barrel mikens? (Freak12, Freak30, KP23, etc..).
How does the swing weight fell compared to those bats?
I normally swing 26oz but ive read that the JB swings lighter and wondering (if i find the needle in the haystack) should i go with at 27oz?

I like 26 oz bats but the 27 jb ultra and 27 jb freak from last year seem manageable to me.
Ive had 26 and 27 from both years.
I prefer the balanced usssa 12 inch mikens (freak hb sbf honeybadger) over the maxload but can handle the endloads no problem. The jb ultra does not feel like a sledge hammer at all.
Swings very similar to most of the usssa 12 inch miken maxloads or worth 12.5 inch xl bats.
I think you will be happy with either weight when you can find it.
Be prepared to hit some bombs!
