Yeah just like Baldy said.he came back after a few minutes and apologized to us and then left for good.
Thanks, it was a great day all around. I wasn't so sure our bats would come around in time with the lead you built.
Did Evo annoy you guys as much as us?
Made the pitch over dinner to the wifey about playing some ball one weekend in Fargo this fall, let's say it wasn't the perfect time given the 14 hours I was gone yesterday and the 10 hours yesterday and 8 hours today for my daughters tournament but sounds like it is a go just need the dates... and to be first to block out the calender![]()
I was hoping to hit a walk-off in the Championship - instead I hit a lazor 10 ft over the pitchers head for a single. Just missed it. Then Travi popped up..... then later the lights went out..... A walk off would have been a lot more fun.
Thats Evo for ya. Played a couple tourneys with him in SD, same antics. It's funny for a while, but it runs its course fairly quick. I'm surprised that no one blew him up when he came and was standing in by the pitcher.
We have been talking pretty much non stop about getting this lined up, I'm pretty sure we are going to shoot for the weekend of 8 September for it.
After Travi popped out, i didnt know we were that close to 10 running them, so i walked thinking about having base runners, and had a brain fart that Leah was behind me. Should have tried to end it.![]()
i should have warned you guys that leah likes to drink. then i rememered that she was on your team not mine![]()
To me, i have no problem with people drinking, its softball, and even more so it was a charity tourney, have fun. But when you cant catch a simple throw from 2nd, and it wasnt like Rich was winging them at her, maybe need to take a step back and evaluate things for a second.
I just nodded and smiled a lot on the way home when she told me that she's never played like that before and that some of those throws were not too good. If it was someone I knew better I would have said something, but not at 11:30 at night. I told Travi to keep an eye on her, because during warm-ups she dropped or missed like 5 straight.

We all know it was man-dime....

Yeah I was warming up with her and she couldn't catch any thing but as the marathon game went on she got better and it didn't cost us in the end.(CHAMPS) I was just more worried she would get hurt.
Some of the throws were in the dirt but she did miss at least 3 balls that she would've caught in earlier games.
She told me she was only buzzed and not drunk and that she was fine (normal) after the first couple innings. LOL!
Quotes for the troof, troof!
Was this the blonde girl I saw up by the concessions bawling and trying to convince some dude she didn't have a drinking problem? Lol
