I personally dont think that the AV has a stiff barrel at all. The SB98 is stiffer IMO, talking ASA only i assume? otherwise, the DB, GSR, and Spike are stiffer.

the AV is not very stiff....from an ASA standpoint, the AVR and SB98 are stiffer..

thanks for the input guys. I've only swung the AV in co-ed and it seems to kill the softer ball. i guess I'm just hitting on the sweet spot.

he's saying that the sweet spot on the AV is more toward the end of the bat, so if you take a small step back, you'll be hitting the sweet spot more consistently.

No joke, I get comfortable at the plate, move my feet back a couple inches, and swing away. It's ridiculous.

just dont change your swing. Some people tend to lean when they do.
