Batting Order & Courtesy Runner

Anyone have a method or theory for creating a batting order and planning for Courtesy Runners for the SLOW guys?

We've been blessed with an influx of youth the last two season, so no longer is the team stuck going base-to-base with four hits needed to get the slow guys around.

Top 5 in the order are pretty much set based on batting skill. 1,2,3 are highest average on team. 3,4,5 all have power to hit a dinger at any time.

1. Fast
2. Fast
3. Fast
4. Slow
5. Slow
6.
7.
8.
9.
10.
11.

The bottom six are all about same average & power, only difference is speed on the base paths. I'll need to fill the bottom six with 3 fast guys and 3 slow guys.

I try to stay away from putting slow guys back to back. Especially if they are not power hitters. You set yourself up for double plays for anything on the ground in the IF.
