Completely out of the loop, need to know what equipment is hot? Help! Noob?

Hello, I have been out of the softball game for a while, and am playing in a charity softball tournament in a few weeks. I need to get some new turf shoes and a new bat. What's the best endloaded bat on the market now??? What kind of turfs are the cool kids wearing these days??? Please help, I've got to look like I know what I'm doing out there. Thanks in advance for your help!!!

Miken/Worth or DeMarini are the best bats out right now. Quick break in period and virtually hot out of the wrapper. My personal preference are Boobah turf shoes. There are many good one out there though.

Trail shoes are what most people play in. Salomon if you want to drop a lot or Adidas if not.
