Dudley Lightning Grip Spin Tech

Got my first Dudley 27 oz EL 12 inch barrel yesterday. Love this bat. I noticed that after only 100 cuts the tacky feeling on the barrel that they call Grip Spin Tech is already gone. Anyone else see this with their Dudleys? No big deal...probably just a gimmick anyways, but there is probably some advantage in the grip spin tech for getting better top spin or back spin.

Use a wet cloth on the barrel will usually bring some of the tackey back.

For a thorough cleaning, I'll take it to the sink and put it under running water and rub it with a cloth. It dries and returns to a tacky state.

Cleaning Dudley

Use a 'magic erasure.' Soak the sponge and go over the barrel. It removes the ball marks and then I use a wet rag to wipe off the cleaner. Dry it and the tackiness comes back. I keep it in a plastic sleeve when not using. The bat stays new looking for a long time. I've got over a 1000 swings on mine and teammates cannot believe it the way it looks.
