Ball hits the fence that extends to the top of the foul pole in fair territory and ball falls in fair territory. Is that the same as hitting the fence anywhere else?

pole is 20 feet higher than the fence there is a 2 foot wide yellow fence that extends up along with the pole in fair territory

Is it a fair ball in Fenway if it hits the green monster, or any other ballpark that the fence extends up?

Well, in that case, I have a HR. Check your local rules to see what they say

If its yellow, let it mellow....

Should be a HR. As the described it in your second post, the yellow fence is part of the foul pole.

The foul pole and screen are completely in fair territory and above the fence. Balls hitting the pole or it's screen are homeruns, even if they bounce into fair or foul territory.

Hr people, it's do the ump and every other moron on the field can tell which side of the foul pole the ball was on.
