Is this bat NOW or am I being too picky?

Dying of WTP Disease
Bought Carmel an ASA Legit the other night off of FB. First the guy said it was a 26oz NOW NR Legit. When I took it out of the box it was clean but to me it didnt look like it was NOW.

1. Stock grip was gone and hockey tape was old and greasy looking
2. After hockey tape came off I noticed it was 27oz not 26oz
3. Knob is pretty beat up, esp when hockey tape was covering it.
4. There is 6 or so paint chips on the bat, to me ground chips from hitting the ground.
5. 2 spots where they look to be scratched, from hitting a ball
6. endcap looks clean cuz the left over dirt is hard. its a little beat ups also

Definitely not NOW. You need to undo the deal or be compensated somehow. Id be pissed if thats what I got even if the weight was correct.

Agree with everyone. Definitely not NOW, and I think the wrong weight would make me just as upset if not worse than the condition!

I would be pissed about the weight! That is first and foremost!!!! Whenever u go somewhere, u dont have someone say, well we dont have bud light, but we have something exactly like bud light...its lighter, it comes in a dirty glass, and it has real bits of panther in it. U'd be like "uhhhh, no??" Thats nothing how he described....weight alone would piss me off, and it looks like it was used in a day of tourney ball, then one league game which is why he hockey taped it, then sold it! No thanks!!!

No it was only pepperoni pizza.

I paid $115 for it.

The pic was kinda at a distance.

He said I can return it to him but CARMEL can swing a 27 just as easy as a 26.

Should I ask for some $$ back?

Maybe out of principle for being misleading, but he may just say "send it back instead"

Depends on your definition of NOW. I've taken the wrapper off bats and put them in a bag and they've got pretty dinged up after sitting in there a few months, with two or three nights of ball and tourneys. It may have no hits on it, but I would have put a disclaimer on that it had been in my bag an got beat up a little. NOW in this case is false advertising. I'd be more pissed that it's a 27 when he said it was a 26.

Only 2nd FB buy I have done.

I am actually not too mad about the weight. Mel can swing either. I would be more mad if it was for me and it was the other way around.
