I've never seen this before.

Forgive me if something like this has been started before, but I've seen a couple of odd gloves put up recently, and I think it would be cool to start a thread with all the ones that we've found.

I've never seen a finger hole like that before.

Here is one per Rous:

The first one, with the horizontal finger hole- that is the first finger hole design that Rawlings issued around 1970, about the time they first started producing "fastback" style gloves. A year or two later they changed the design to the type of finger hole we see today.

Glovesmith has had a version of this for a while. I am not sure what I think.

I've seen some of the Korean gloves that look like that, but they were modded at the top instead of full trap style.

I wonder why they would have a shoe lace backing there. Gel is a def for all fingerpads going forward

My dad dusted off his old "the a2000" for me in middle school. Shortly after, I realized he used tie wire in a couple spots after some laces broke.......wish I had pics.

Bet you don't have one of these...

A guy sent me his almost brand new Revo and wanted to add leather at the top of the web because he thought that the trap would stretch out with use.

A strange Rawlings from the 80's. Three finger glove/mitt hybrid made for softball.

That's pretty neat.
I had this one made, no one lines it but I think its cool
