I used to do this with the youth teams I coached. I was reffing one time and showed the coach and captain of a HS team and they tried it the next week during a penalty. Works well if the goalie gets distracted

Not a hockey buff but can he enter the goalie's circle before shooting? If so, why not just ram him at full speed?
