ASA, 52/300 Crap dots, 275-290' fences.

2 HRs in rec, no one up, then DBO
3 HRs in competitive, no one up, then DBO
6 HRs in outlaw, 1 up, then DBO (bring your own ball, swing your own bat, same fields though - lot of guys think they're pretty BA bringing a 44/400, swinging shaved sticks and barely getting it over 280')

Maybe you perceive it to be a stupid question but trying to dispell my own beliefs but to me, softball doesn't change much when you get into different levels of play. Is there really a huge difference in competition between those three? I wouldn't know because I've always picked up with middleground league teams when I would play in the city and those would be decent competition with most of the teams being able to hang in E or D if they entered.

Ours varies depending on the light and level of the league. Coed comp is 1 up and singles. Mens Comp on wednesday is 3 and then outs. Thursday mens rec is one up and singles. One year we played coed was 3, one up, then doubles. They seem to change every year as they let the coaches decide at the meeting at the beginning of the year.
