So, here is the question... ASA has certain standards that each bat cannot exceed. I assume they do extensive testing on each bat... I wonder what is the difference in most bats, how wide is that performance gap from Bat A to Bat Z? It makes sense that most manufacturers are going to try to get as close to that standard without going over it. What would you give to see that data sheet that ASA is holding that shows how close each bat got to that standard?
I think you would gain more traction to look into whether you prefer an end loaded or balanced bat as opposed to trying to get the magical answer of which bat is best for ASA.

We have an indoor hitting place that's affiliated with a local store so they have a rack of demo bats for people to try. Went a few times this winter and they loaned us pocket radars to play with. I like to experiment so I always try a bunch of different models in a bunch of different weights and I was surprised how close the exit speeds were. Endload, balanced, 26oz, 30oz, long barrel, short barrel... I'm within about 4mph no matter what I use. The only thing that varies is my comfort level and my consistency.
