I probably would have called it off knowing it was just gonna be some D teams taking BP against 2 E rec teams.

Kinda what it felt like to us too... Oh well, we showed up and played unlike any other e-rec teams in the area. Glad we played on field 4 for the last game.

Ya it sucks the E Rec teams had to play D teams, but it was said that the tournament would be combined and made an equilizer.. They had plenty of time opt out. I think dealing with the weather they did a good job getting alot if games in..

Not arguing anything about the equalizer or anything about playing up. If it werent for one inning we should have beat Complete Easton the first game, but oh well. We got out and played the D teams to the best of our ability and got a few guys some more experience for future tournaments.

I agree here, I will say that CSD and BSI need the same bump to D locally as Bash because they are both pretty legit. Just as a few people have said Ryno's could be local C. I think the efforts to get the fields playable instead of just sacking the whole thing was great. Sure it was Texas 1 pitch but there were some great games played and the game we had w RK was fun in any weather.

Dirtbags won the C, Damage came in 5th and Combat went 2-2.

Wow nice work!! I played in Kearney with a few Amish guys for Leth's Tree Service and we got 2nd. Versatile Roofing/Fanatics won it and Complete ended up 3rd. The Versatile Roofing/Fanatics team is pretty legit..

Nice Job boys!!!

Jeff is there a website that we can see the results.

Not that I am aware of. ASA isnt very good at posting results or upcoming tournaments so folks can easily find them unfortunately. All I have ever seen is local sites or message boards...thats about it.

Google ASA Slowpitch Softball - Iowa and their website will come up with a link to the brackets. Well run tourney and good showing by Dirtbags and Damage. We fell short of our expectations, but will continue to battle....

Hey everyone just a reminder CSG games is July 20-21! If you register before June 17th its $17, and after that $20 until July 1. I just received details from Tim Watts the director if you would like me to forward you the information let me know. It would be a nice warm-up for state Utrip/ASA that are taking place the following weekends. So try to get in if you can..
