new bat break in advice

Need some input on breaking in a new bat. Should i swing out of my shoes or 60% swings and rotate the bat.

Swing away and rotate the barrel 1/4 turn after every hit. Don't try to speed it up by hitting stadiums or anything like that. Hit the balls that it's made to handle.
