Looking to buy a new softball glove to play infield, specifically third base. To break it in during the off season. All suggestions will be appreciated.

Theres alot of factors to consider here. Not sure if you have a budget, brand preference, size preference...etc. With no budget constraints, i'd go Pro200-6k gameday kris bryant. Love that glove so much. I play ss but itd be fine at 3b also.

'Option 1' in not the "cheap option". It's the "smart option"...........

As I've begun the process of breaking this glove in, my already good opinion of it has done nothing but gone up! Remember, this is a $219 glove that's being closed out for $59. The quality is commensurate with its retail price. Is it perfect? Probably not, but that's an individual interpretation. Still, it hits enough of the right notes that it should be seriously considered. I think that the only real thing that might eliminate it from consideration is size. While it measures true (12.5"), it is a baseball pattern & may seem small for softball depending on how big your like your glove. If you are comfortable with a 12.25" in the infield, I say go for it!

Why would I give an opinion on another product that I haven't used? Just trying to spread the word on the brand on the site. That's kinda what reps do.

I use my 1799 to pitch and play 3rd. I just got another one to work on during the winter. its definitely a great option to use all around!
