Did you mean the Brooks Beast? If so, the Beast are a motion control shoe (typically for a low arch and adds stability) while these are a neutral + shoe (high arch). I think the majority of people are able to wear a neutral shoe but ymmv. That being said, these are the some of the best overall shoes I've ever worn!

Bump for great shoes. The Beasts are more of a flat foot walking shoe. The glycerins feel like you're running on tons of cushioning with nice support. They are my current shoe, having changed over from saucony kinvaras. Wish these were 14s!
