IMO good for the primos, nothing else. Makes black leather (at least mine) look like crap.

you sure you weren't using too much? you sure you were rubbing it all the way into the leather? Use this on my rawlings, nokona, and nike gloves never had an issue
Never used it personally, but I've heard the white residue thing from more than one person.
The white stuff usually builds up in the nooks and crannies, especially near lace.
Kinda sounds like the white residue you get, from using paste car wax.
