SB98 ready to give up

I have a SB98 with about 200 cuts on it, mostly BP. Honestly, I am nearing the point of giving up on it. Will it open up with additional BP or am I wasting my time?

Also, will the lack of flex hit the 52/300's better?

I swing an OG AV so that is what I am comparing it to...

1) Yes, you could use a few more swings. Especially if you're a judy swinger and using soft(ish) balls in BP.

2) Yes, the stiffer barrell will hit the 52/300's well. I like the SB with the new balls.

3) Nothing, and I mean nothing compares to the OG AV. So stop that. :)

the one I had did not start opening up until about 500 swings and boy when it did it got really good

I have found the SB98 to be hot out of the wrapper (1st swing on mine for a teammate was a 330' Bomb) but I do not like it as I am used to the AV's sweetspot so I don't swing it at all.

My vfp did. It hit like the AV but with a bigger sweetspot.
