I've got a 27oz Easton scn8 flex. Pretty well broken in and hitting really well. No cracks, rattles or spiderwebbing. Has a chunk missing from endcap. I've put a few hundred hits on it since it happened. It hasn't gotten worse nor has effected the way it swings. No knob sticker. Re-gripped with athletic tape. Bat is fully returnable.

It's not intentional. I promise you that. It happened at frozen ropes somehow last winter.

that is weird, never seen anything like that. Well, you should be able to get any composite chips, chucks, etc... out easily. How does this thing sound?

Sounds the same as it did before it happened. I didn't notice it til I was putting it in my bag.
