just hit my new 27 easton senior salvo and it sounds like metal. have about 30 hits on it. is this normal and how long before that sound goes away. not really hot out of the wrapper.

Mine sounded like that on the first swing. It's got about 30-40 cuts on it now. That sound is gone and it's more of a cracking sound now. It hits real good. Still several feet behind my 60-70 cut big cat and a little further behind my 500 cut Dudley. I think it's gonna be a great bat after it gets broke in. I didn't think my Dudley was ever gonna break in. Took around 350 cuts. For me, the bigcat and salvo were much hotter out of the wrapper than the Dudley.
