What do some serial #'s mean I have a OG Freak that starts with 334 and have heard of guys with bats that start with 000, I have also heard that the bats don't start at 000 what bat could that be?

First number is year made. A 3 is 2003, a 0 is 2010.

it must be a 2000 model cause the # is 000 and its not a new bat

he was making reference to the old bat being 000, not the OG Freak. I don't think they started putting serials on tapers until somewhere around the OG Freaks. My OG IntemsitE had a chicken scratch serial under the grip.

yea i had a psycho that started with 0 and i have a Titanium that starts with an 8 and i had a MV-1 that started with 0

That's because your Psycho and the former Recoil were produced in '10, and the latter Recoil was manufactured in '08.

It's a date code on at least the Maniac line, the Recoil line, the Freak DST, and the Psycho. Haven't owned enough of the rest to verify if it holds for the majority of Miken bats.
