Whaddya guys think about a swap of Tex for Jay Bruce? I am getting Bruce.

BTW, I can can't out power the teams in my league so basically giving up Tex to boost my avg. IMO, Tex looks off in the plate but he could have his 2nd half surge. Let me know if I am giving up on Tex too early.

I wouldn't do it.

What's the scoring in your league? Right now they are pretty much even except Bruce has a bit of an avg and SB advantage, and Tex has OBP and BB advantage.

Tex is also hitting below his career average right now while Bruce is above his. Couple that with Tex's usual second half surge and I think all things being equal I'd hold onto him over Bruce.

you think that 25 point difference is going to make your team better? keep Tex. Bruce is hitting .227 with 4 HR and 9 RBI in the past 30 days and really hasn't done **** this year except for a nice month of May.

I do have Bruce in 2 leagues and I'll give him up for Tex in either of them

Thanks I'll keep Tex. I'm just frustrated w/ my team and having too many Yankees on my roster(Cano, Tex, Mo,and Gardner).
