Ok. So i bought a sb98 from a bro on here. He asked for a money order. I obliged since he didn't have paypal. I got a m.o. for the bat, sent it out. Week or so later, he didnt receive it. I appologized n went to the p.o. talked to the lady she said it wasn't cashed or whatever. Soooooo, I told said board Bro I would be a good guy, deal with the p.o. on the other money order n send him a new one. So, go back next day, get another send it out. Get a message from him today stating he didn't receive it yet again. He now is expecting me to send the bat back. Im now 240 bucks deep in a bat I really don't use. What do I do now?

I got this one right when we agreed to our deal. Lol n no I just sent them in a envelope like I have numerous times.

If the money orders aren't cashed, can't you just get your money back from the post office? Maybe you made a mistake with the address? Not receiving mail once is fluky enough, but twice? Something is up, but since the money orders have not been cashed, it does not seem like it's foul play on the other person's part.

I am the bro in question, I have to admit I am very frustrated as well. I did send a firm message. I really don't know what to do either, I have received neither of the money orders. I sent the bat UPS next day saver almost a month ago. We are both GTG but one of us is not satisfied. I did ask for the bat back if I didnt get the money order tomorrow. Neither of us should be out, didn't they refund the first uncashed amount before you bought the 2nd money order?

I have done money order transactions before and they always used delivery conformation if for no other reason to cover themselves against lost postage and claims like these. I am here for a positive solution as much as anyone, I just hope the holiday delay is the reason. But I do feel that i have every right to be concerned.

BML, I am not here to bash, you have been great with communication. But I would think anyone in my position a couple days shy of a month later would be this frustrated also. I am also open to constructive feedback

Don't feel too bad bro, I did a trade with him. I'm still missing my bat from him, sent mine to him on 6/18/11 and still have not received his bat yet. He has not sent me a tracking number for any of the two times he claims he has shipped my bat.

I know Bro trust me. They told me 30 days until I could do ne thing about it. If you want, I will send it back. I'm not here to screw n e one. Believe me. I will figure it out. I've never had issues with usps up until late. If I was in your spot I would be worried to. No question. N ur bat still isn't there? That is very surprising. Seeing as it was sent Friday.

I'd say maybe the holiday has something. But other than that, yes he has every right to ask for the bat back. And it needs to be sent.

Might give him your address again, as it seems he keeps ****ing it up.


One reason why PP is easier. I do see the points to not use it though.

Dude look, when you ship ANYTHING you ALWAYS want a tracking # or some form of tracking period. I HATE the USPS system and NEVER ship ANYHTING through them. Damn the 30 days period, the POSTMASTER or someone with some common sence can track my bat with the #'s you sent me, it has been done before. No, my bat has not arrived yet. Granted, it is/was a holiday and I do know and expect a day or two in a late delivery, but this is just unacceptable.

But what makes me feel worried is that you have send me two tracking # and BOTH of them are invalid. "IF" I were to ask for my bat back and the given circumstances on your end with USPS it looks as if I would never get it back either.

In his defense, if I sent out the cash for a bat I bought, the moment the cash left my hands it's my bat to do as I please. Unfortunately not what happened it looks.

I see your point totally, but after the first "issue"( which was 6-21) wouldn't you bag the bat until this was resolved?...I would, but maybe I'm crazy....

No not crazy at all.

I did have an issue at one time. I sent a guy $60 for some random things (another site)and we were both legit sellers/traders. I assumed he got the cash and about 3 weeks later he PM'd saying he didn't. Waited another week and still nothing. I made out another check and and had it ready to go and he PM'd me again saying he had received it. Sometimes things just happen to **** in the mail. I hope it works out for both of ya.

I deal in pp all the time. He asked for the m.o. So i obliged. No big deal. I have put maybe 100 cuts on it since. How did it flake so bad in 10 hits cuz I have a balanced 10 hit one.that is perfect?

The payment terms are not what is at issue here ( I actually asked for a check or money order), the issue is that I ( and sounds like others) are on the bad end of a deal involving you and bats you have already received and we have nothing in return. As far as the claim of flaking, there were none but I will indulge with a possible explanation..... different people swing differently, I swing harder, Combats are known to flake easily, take your pick. Either way it was mint condition and now there is no way to tell since you have swung it so much since then. 100 swings may not sound like alot but those sb98's aren't 1000 swing tanks...please don't hit it anymore until this is resolved

I will check the mail tomorow again. If the money order is not there I will post here with my address formally asking for the bat back. The issue with the post office will be yours to deal with. If the money order in the future shows up, you can be sure it will not be cashed, I will even post on this thread in the future leting anyone who reads know I got it and am sending it back.

I understand your thinking but I just don't work that way. So to put 100 game swings on a bat ( that means 100 drops or throws into the dirt too) that devalue the bat before you're even certain that everything is kosher just kinda seems foolish. If he gets the bat back it's gonna be worth less than he sold it for
