Agree that the money order receipts (or attached paper) should be shown to seller. If buyer says he lost them then somethings a lil fishy.

Believe me. I hdte sending m.o. for this exact reason. I got a pic of the most recent m.o. stub. I dint keep the first cuz I've never had issues. I did, so I kept the second. So what happens if I never see the m.o n I get nothing from the p.o.? Then I'm out 240 bucks? That's not right either. I dint take 100 game swings. It has like 3 games on it. But I hit bp. It had flaming around the b in combat that got worse. I've had plenty of combats n never had chipping or flaking. Swinging hard is what I'm good at. I'm 6'4 260 lbs. If you don't get the m.o. Idk what to tell you. I don't think its right I would have to send the bat back but I dont think its fair u get screwed either. But I'm also not going 360 bucks deep in a bat.

What?!?!? It's your responsibility to make sure that the item( in this case a money order) makes it to him. It's your own fault your this far in the hole. If you wouldn't have been cheap and payed for tracking you'd know what happened.

Ok I know that now but I have sent 3 m.o. in the last year maybe and all 3 have been gtg with no issue.

I have a easy solution. Join the 21st century and get yourself a Paypal account. Problem solved everyone can run around and do the happy dance.

I thought only scammers from other country's still used these to be honest

mostly targeting items over $200 in value on craigslist.

BMLPARTIMER - you can easily cool some of the heat by posting a pic of your money order receipts or receipt of shipping his bat back.

Furthermore, since i'm still rather new here, is it common practice to send a bat before getting payment?

yes if you have no deals here, your shipping first for awhile... just make sure buyer is GTG, like 20+ deals.

just had a bat trade with a noob, he shiped me his bat first last week, i sent my bat next day after i recieved his bat. 1 week deal was complete from texas to michigan and back to texas.

I'll pay him right away once it gets here.
That's just how it is for a little. Most deals go very smooth. Just have to build up a good rep!
If you're not willing to send first several times, then we encourage you to Keep it on Craigslist!
