I bought a pitchsafe net a few years ago and my team loves it. Quick and easy to set up and is very durable. It was a little pricey, but it's well worth it!!
I made one with heavy duty 1/4" nylon rope. It took a whole Saturday to weave but it cost under $50 and a lot thicker and more durable than anything I found online. I measured it to be slightly looser on the frame instead of being taut to help absorb and dampen the batted ball impact.
Are you asking for a net to hit into for soft toss or a pitcher's screen? Cant go wrong with the Juggs lite-flite screen. 2-3 minutes to set up or take down and it won't wear out until my softball days are long gone.
