Leather - feels far different than any leather I have ever felt. Nokona leather (walnut especially) feels like leather. Whereas, Vinci leather feels more plastic-like (the some say the A2000's feel). With this being said, have never felt nor seen kip leather before, so this may be the norm. Leather feels thick, like a pillow. Not saying this is good or bad, just different.
Break-in - this may be the easiest glove I have ever broken in. I put the conditioner on, left the house for a couple of hours, and came back. Conditioner had already seeped into leather and seemed dry. Immediately tried squeezing glove, then began throwing a ball in glove. I can already squeeze this glove closed. I do not know what people are saying about these gloves being difficult to break-in, as I can already squeeze it closed with and without a ball. My Nokona's have been far more difficult to break-in at least at this initial stage.
Hand position - I put two in the pinkie and two in the ring finger. This makes it easier to close, so this may have aided in what I stated above.
Conclusion - this will be far different from anything I have ever tried. Very different from my Nokona's. Just hope I do not screw it up.
Advice - how do you keep from have a crease begin to form where you close your glove? Even if a ball is in there, it often times seems like a crease forms. Anyone else have this issue?
