Jeturn prototype review

This is the prototype that I got from ZUAUZ. Not a whole lot of specifics on it. It was marked as 26 oz and felt like it had a slight endload. The grip is relatively thick and feels pretty rubbery. Overall it isn't a whole lot to look at but I'm sure that's not the point right now.

From what I understand this is supposed to be a USSSA bat and so I put together a bag of 25 classic m and m plus balls (40/325 and 52/300). The bat felt broken in pretty much right away. The barrel felt very soft. Mis-hitting the ball didn't sting the hands. The field was 310 all around and it was about 70* at just after 8 in the morning. We were trying to hustle through the bag before our tourney started and other teams were showing up. The bat had terrific exit speed and I was able to put a couple out in the first round. Bat sounded nice as well. Not quite a real crack bit no hint of metallic sound. The only real negative I had on the bat was that it developed a rattle really fast. Maybe 10-15 swings in you can see me shaking the bat and can hear it occasionally. Other than that, the bat looks good. Put another 50 on it the next day and it's really starting to open up. Hopefully I'll be able to get vids up with more board members soon.

Your pitcher is very trusting. Good thing you didn't miss hit those CF shots. I trust my friends but stuff happens.

You have a bad hitch in that swing. You should get away from the overlap until you can control it!!... JMO!!
