im glad I got in on the first batch...cant wait to see what this thing can do...heading down to the cable place monday and im going to try to work a deal to boost my internet speed for as little dough as possible...but seems to be the thing to just increase speed to avoid trouble... either way im excited.

some links had SD quality streams, however i did find a set that had real good borderline HD quality streams

ok, well this you plug into the HDMI port on your tv...you dont have to stream through your monitor or sit in front of a computer to watch
im sure its the same technology, this just lets you do it much more comfortably through the tv

I am very interested in getting one of these, but I read somewhere that someones amazon account was linked to one of these and they now have a huge fines because it was traceable or something. Wasn't sure weather to believe it or not but just thought I would ask about it.

huge fines for what? if you had the content on your hard drive, it would be illegal. streaming it, is not. but yes, you do have to link the fire stick to an amazon account. you could dummy one up for just this if you had to i suppose.
