I wonder if this is the same bat as the freak black asa stick? I have been wanting to try one out

I swung last years FB ASA and this DC. To me this felt so much like the Utrip DC and the performance was there. Maybe the FB I swung last year didnt have enough cuts.

I don't think so. Last year's freak black asa had a maxload (1/2 ounce). This one's a supermax. If anything, the DC 41 asa might be similar to the freak USA.

I swung last years freak black, stadium edition and USA versions. This IMO feels nothing like them. It literally feels like the utrip version. I have a 26oz and it feels to me like a .75-1oz EL. Similar but not the same as the freak USA (which was the only one in my opinion that felt like it actually had an el) but this bat is legit! This is non demarini bat I will be keeping in the bag for ASA.

Coming from a guy who only swings Demarini for Asa this bat is gas. I can honestly see this bat get some game time love over my insan3

I love mine. Swings verrry similar to my 26.5 future with a similar endload spot. Still a bit behind my future in distance, but with more hits it'll be lights out

Mine feels like same weighting as my OG red knob. Put about 175 hits on it last weekend with evil rockets. Started to open up between the 100-125 hit mark. Will put another 200 on it before it sees the 52's. Feels great though. Mine will def. work its way into the Asa rotation with the future and insan3.

How quickly will they spiral if only hitting 52s? Does the DC ASA need to be broken in with 44s+ before game ready? Or will they reach full potential if only facing 52s?

I only hit .52's with mine with maybe 1 or 2 .44's thrown in and there's a couple spirals at about 120 swings. From my experience I don't think you need to hit any .44's to get this thing going.

Do Utrip DC41s spiral? I've only seen straight webbing on those. Sounds like a sign that they definitely didn't just throw an ASA stamp on the Utrip version.

The one I had was stiff and needed some break in. Swung it in a game with 44's, spirals right away after. Moved it after 30 cuts. Swings identical to the utrip version

Would you say the performance of the ASA DC41 is on par with the Utrip one? I'd say the Utrip DC is as good if not better than top end ASA sticks.

Bro I would honestly say they are neck and neck. Picked up a 275 cut utrip version and a 75 cut asa version and the after a round of bp 25-30 cuts with each it would be a toss up between the two. This bat is a game changer for miken. Only downfall might be durability ( and failed compression I'm sure is going to be an issue) but I have about 125ish cuts on mine and it's only going to see 52s and gamer status from here on out.

So I play with 52/275s in one of my leagues. Would you recommend the ASA DC or the USSSA?

Get the USSSA version. Mine destroys 52s.

I did pick up a 27 ASA DC 41. One of my league hits 44/375s, the other hits 52s, so I'll get a good side by side personal comparison.

I still swing the DC in USSSA/NSA and can't see putting it down for anything. Except my Blackout when it's cold outside and we're hitting Classic M's.

Got my ASA DC 41 in last week and put about 200 swings on it. To me, it swings almost identical to my homeboys USSSA DC. It was destroying the .52's

Now if only Miken will come out with a great performing 12" ASA to compliment the USSSA Freak 12/30's. Not sure what is taking them so long.
