RG3 is Mr. Glass. Dude has an arm and all that, but he can't stay healthy. Also he's supposedly a prima donna.
Kaep is a massive headache/distraction and no team wants to deal with that. If he ain't your starter, you don't want him. No team wants to see people that aren't even fans of the team, or not even fans of the sport of football, protesting outside the teams HQ because Kaepernick isn't playing. Wouldn't matter if the starter went 35-40 for 550 yards and 7 TDs the week before, if he's backing up a white QB its RAAAAAAAACIST!
NFL teams have enough to worry about, personnel wise, without having to respond to smug op-eds from hairy armpitted women that didn't even know who Kaepernick was in February 2013, when he was playing in front of a TV audience of a quarter billion people.

Activists don't know why everyone in the world isn't also an activist. In that sense, and in a lot of other senses, they're like kids coming home from Bible camp. They just can't fathom why EVERYBODY isn't high on Jesus.
The progressive, postmodern values that equate victimhood with virtue have elevated Kaepernick to sainthood. NFL owners, to their credit, are playing this exactly right. There is zero reason to placate those people, since they're a bunch of brokeasses that don't like football anyway. They hate the NCAA, hate the NFL, hate sports in general and football especially for its violence and machismo. They hate masculinity as a concept, wealth because they lack it, and if they're not white (many are not) they hate white people. They put up a smokescreen about hating "whiteness" and not white people but if you hate someone who is unapologetically white for their "whiteness" you're just a racist.
Long article in the NY Times today about the Asian people suing Harvard for their racial quota system. Asian students, particularly Asian males, are held to a much higher standard academically than other groups. Progressives are tying themselves into knots defending race based admissions that exclude members of a race because they're too successful.Its quite a ****show.
