Got picked up for a coed league over a week ago to help a buddy out. Brought the DNAL out with warmer. Went 5 for 5.

Last one was a single between 56 hole.

Good start for 2022.

Here in Detroit it’s finally settled into low 40’s past few days. Told my team be ready on Thursday March 10 for first practice. Know it would be a hassle to get everyone on short notice for this Thursday. 10th it’s supposed to be upper 40’s. I’m going to go on a Billy Martin esque tirade in the group chat if at least 8 guys don’t show up.

Hmm…I’ve had lots of at bats.

Last at bat was a drive to right field along the foul line but stayed fair and didn’t pass the outfield fence. Outfielders didn’t bother getting it. Got four bases out of that one.

Go-ahead run on second, no out, top of the last inning. I hit a deep flyball to RF hoping to at least get the runner to 3rd with 1 out. RF dropped what was otherwise a routine play. We scored 4. They came back to beat us 17-16 on a walk-off 3 run HR.

Random throw together scrimmage. Pretty subpar overall, as I hadn't touched a bat since September.

Grabbed a Pure 240 for my last AB, and it was the only ball I barreled up nicely. Warning track shot that rolled under the fence for a double.
