First of all it was definitely his shin and not chin 😂

But my teammates mom plays coed with us, wonderful lady, probably 60, that is a mother of a great family. She probably gets on base by a hit 1 out of 20 times but we all love having her there, having her there keeps everyone on the team in check.

We are playing the top team in the league, all tourney people that smoke most teams, we are somewhat hanging in there, maybe down by 5 or something. She hits a very slow roller to the short stop, he flips it up with his glove to the pitcher who proceeds to throw her out by 10 feet. She is very slow, understandably and was chugging along so intensely she didn’t even know what happened. My buddy was super bothered, like I’ve never seen him so upset, he’s a pretty level headed guy. So, I blasted the pitcher for him, aimed for his shins, not chin and was successful. Not something I do purposely much but it felt warranted at the time.

In softball, even the best defenses make errors occasionally—it's part of the game's unpredictability. Per World Rules of softball, players strive for perfection, but mistakes happen .It's crucial to strike a balance between technology advancements and maintaining the integrity of the game.
Does the defense ever make an error or do they all field 1.000?
