What fields did younplay on? Did you play on the massive field or the one with the trees in LF at like 240'?Charity Tournament
Game1: 463 double play
Game2: 64
Game3: Single to LC
Got knocked out. Down 17 came back 9 but time limit did us in in the 5th.
Last year we hit 3 HRs out of the big field on the back side of the park by the ice rink. (Not me, that's about 30' past where I can hit a ball) The ball really doesn't carry at those fields regardless of wind direction.2 on the bigger field and the last one in the back.
Wind blowing in most of the day.
Conference player Donnie Walsh hit that tree in LF about 30 feet up. Absolute crushed. Kid can hit. Our pitcher, pitched one high and deep on his 2nd @ bat. Took that one out of park with ease as well.Last year we hit 3 HRs out of the big field on the back side of the park by the ice rink. Was that the field by the highway where 380' to LF puts the ball on the other infield?Conference player Donnie Walsh hit that tree in LF about 30 feet up. Absolute crushed. Kid can hit. Our pitcher, pitched one high and deep on his 2nd @ bat. Took that one out of park with ease as well.
I've seen a few balls hit across those trees. That's the field we used in like 2011 for the NJ SBF North/South game. I think Roland hit a ball over those trees. I think in my life I've only ever gone deep on that field once. Had a teammate that routinely hit balls into the tree canopy in CF there.
