Post surgery advice

I just had a double laminectomy and a microdiscetomy on my back,
since I cant do anything active or exercise for a few months, can u guys recommend some good supplements so I wont sit around and get obese, I try to eat clean the best I can

My doc told me to get a fiber supplement and a whey

Any advice is apprecited

I had those procedures. Planks are good since theres no rotation. L glutamine can help you not lose muscle too fast. Most of the whey out there is pretty much the same, it comes down to taste and solubility

Interesting he would suggest those things over real food. When looking at carbs, look for fiber content instead of total carb count, then protein of course, low to moderate fat meats primarily. Doing this would reduce the need for fiber supplement and whey shakes.

Fiber gummies will make you blast off. Drinking metamucil sucks but I'll taje that over what the gummies do. Drink it before your meal and it'll fill you up. I didn't care for that but i wasn't trying to lose either.
