Shipping softball price

was messing around on ups, 40lb box of softballs $20 shipped? Does that sound right? Or am I way off? Has anybody shipped 50 or so softballs? What was the price? Thanks for any info

What is the coming from zip
and

I sent 3 dozen to Alaska and it was a flat $50
Sent 5 dozen in state to a remote area of Georgia and it was $45
All USPS

When you use their boxes, they charge a flat rate so it is best to use your own box

I've always used FedEx ground it is couple few dollars less than usps for a dozen or two from me to west coast it seems that the more i shipped at a time the more i saved.. once shipped 7 dozen (one big box) next state over for $35/$40 I believe.. that was a few years back..
yes op $20 for a 40lb box does not seem right with ups

I bought 80 balls on here once and shipping from Midwest to California was $89.

Shipping in the continental US usually comes out to $1 per ball. No matter what you do, there's no super cheap way to ship softballs. They're heavy and bulky.
