What do you do in the offseason?

In the past, I've just brought my gloves inside for storage and checked laces/cleaned it up with light water on a terry towel, but I usually don't put too much conditioner on my gloves once they are broken in, I've always been afraid of it weighing down the glove. I may be totally wrong on this assumption.

Just looking to get some opinions on what you all do with your gloves in the offseason (storage, condition, check laces, etc) and do you do anything with your glove before the next season starts? Thanks for some input!

Put them on stands and look at them! Our home ground has an all synthetic infield so they don't see much dirt, and I like to keep them away from conditioners unless they start feeling particularly dry.

This will be my first offseason with a nice glove. I'm curious what everyone says. I used to just put a ball in it and throw it in the closet.

All hail Megatron.....
Just clean with a damp cloth, condition as I see fit, dry, wrap ball in pocket, and leave alone till I start spring training.

I do the same thing I do after every time I use them. Bring them in the house, clean and condition if needed, and put them on my shelf open palm down.

same here, we play yr round. I put a ball in the pocket, put my glove in the miz bag, then in my glove compartment inside my bag.

Off season is about 3 months for me. At the end of the year I clean my glove with Lexol (orange bottle) and then if it seems at all dry a light coat of conditioner or maybe a light coat of Vaseline before putting in on the shelf palm down. I adjust/tighten the laces if they need it in the spring.

Like many have said, clean with a damp cloth, let dry, lightly condition, put a ball in the pocket and rubber band it. Every couple of weeks, I pull it out play a little couch catch and wrap it back up.

I went from SoCal to north Texas, no offseasons. One thing I have noticed is my gloves getting hot and soften up sitting in my bag in my car when it's over 100 every day here may start bringing my bag in the house or at least the garage
