Friend of mine got a call from Demarini this week saying they were denying his return. Said the bat was too worn (I've seen the bat, that is a joke) and ASP isn't an authorized dealer. Not happy with Demarini right now.

Agree with this, someone should have given you the advice to wait. Of course Demarini CS is going to be thrown off when you are returning a bat that doens't come out for another month. To their knowledge only demos should be out. I'm sure coach will help you out though.
