44s are hard softballs and very dense yet. They take a major toll on bats.
Not actually rocks. But if you read the thread title "enough already" implies its happening a lot. If your wife came home with clap 3 times, are you still sending her out at night?
you seem to have impression it happened as result of user error. Go take look at other posts where people made a similar remarks on the bats made nowadays. Why he is the only one getting this kinda of criticism, perhaps he posted a video?? you tell me.what does posting a video have to do with anything?
you know you were hitting the wrong ball but felt like complaining anyways
if you know this, don't hit 52s, and it breaks, it's your own fault
it's almost like if you swing harder than the average beer leaguer, you shouldn't be swinging a new stick with hard balls. common sense is missing with some people
if you're in an indoor cage with a ball speed radar, you can't claim ignorance. this guy knew what would happen and here he is complaining about it.
stop complaining about failing compression eary too. this is not a manufacturer problem, this is an association problem. until compression is part of the bat stamp standard, manufacturers don't have to make a bat that won't ever fail compression
Ive broken 4 combats and a psycho in 2.5 years, all BP has been with .52s after a few classic ms initially for break in, and I regularly swing old stamp and aluminum for bp as well. We do hit classic ms in league but im the only one swinging my bats in games. Obviously bat manufacturers have it figured out, make thin wall crap that breaks fast and sell em for 50 times the cost, warranty 1 time, and repeat. Its all about making money. Exactly why I wont pay big bucks for a bat nowdays
Bats from certain companies have been notoriously heavier than their starst weight for years. It can also be an idea of how endloaded it is.My guess with scale weight would be a way to see if it's altered?
Last time we had to approach the plate like this was 02-03, and the ultras were about to be banned. In 15 years we've gone nowhere. Well, except that ASA has been swapped to utrip. Not everyone needs to swing a freak 30 all the time. Based loaded with a bump to hit, sure. No body on, and going for a single swing something lesser. There is no common sense or skill involved below the C level anymore. Its all just hitting derby. So many solos and dbos like whoa. Put the hot **** down once in a while.
Monsta didn't necessarily have breakage issues. The issue was if they broke, he said no, you used the wrong balls with absolutely zero proof. Then denied their warranty which he made them pay extra for in the first place.Funny enough, I've broken 2 demarinis the last year I swung them and have never broken a Monsta ever. I've even bought a cracked widow, swung it maybe 200 times, and it's still alive. And those were supposedly the bats with the breakage issues.
I knew Carl had a lot of self loathing but I never thought he'd make another SBF profile to bash himself. It's all starting to make sense now though, Carl.
Bats are too frickin' hot anyway. Not every at bat needs to be a dinger by a 130 lb kid who spends his weekends playing Call of Duty and plays softball because it's an excuse to drink. This **** needs to stop. Homeruns used to mean something and pitchers used to be relatively safe with a much harder ball. Now the game is all about letting talentless people bat flip. We need people to come to the sport but we don't need to lie to them about their batting skill level at the same time, too.
Twisted mistress 400 at bats and she's dead. Joker, for someone who frickin' hates Carl you sure as **** sound like him right now. "Hahaha it's not a durability thing you used the wrong ball! Not my fault not a faulty product, faulty end user!"
