Great glove, I love that web. That being what exactly are you looking for?

The AB you are looking at is flat out sick, the Diablo that you are using in no way shape or form compare to the quality of a Vinci....

It def has the web i want, I dig the all black, and i like the way it opens up, looks like it's already ready to be formed to the exact way i want it. I've just been looking for some input about it's feel, I've never tried a Vinci on, or even seen one anywhere.

How far are you from Whittier?

my vinci is an I-Web, love it.
But I have a Miken Modified Trap like so and love it! great choice for pocket style.

Sliding on a Vinci is very nice and comfortable. They are built to break in the way you want to break them in and are receptive to how you want to break it in.

Hit up Smarkley3 and let him know what you are intersted in. He is the King of Cali when it comes to Vinci....

nice, I'm already PMing with him, so I think i might just do that.

THIS is what I was looking for. Do they take long to break in? I'm using that Diablo but only as a fill in, I was real happy with the rawlings, even though it wasn't some super expensive glove, So I want to get it game ready in a reasonable amount of time.

It all depends on your skill with breaking in a glove. It will take some work, but easily can be gameable within days. Follow the break in instructions and you will get it broken in fairly quick.

I just broke one of these in for a guy who bought one off of me in less than a week....It's about 85% broken in already

I got my teammate a JD73 on Monday evening and we were playing catch with it today without any issues and he is going to use it in a game next week. They aren't easy to break in if you don't put in the time.

They do take work...not like a glove you pick up at Sports Authority. But if you beat the snot out of it you can be ready to play in 3 days...but it's going to be a full time effort. As for feel...get the right Vincis and it will feel really nice on your hand. I bet the AB is one of the right ones.

Smarkley will also start the break in process for you if want. :D

Break in will take some effort but is so worth it. I had difficulty at first with getting my hand in and the feel but that went away and now I have a glove that feels like it was custom made just for me.

I have a AB74L, if you want to take a look at it. I am pretty sure the are close in shape and design.

i have the exact same glove. takes a while to break in and some time getting use to the open back but its nice. i have had mine for a month now and its about 75% broken in and nothing comes out of it. it does play smaller than a 13 but i dont notice it at all. the palm of the glove isnt so for giving on hard liners but i have only taken one straight off the palm. once you get use to it you will never miss the pocket
