Sorry, wrong trajectory
Here's a quick little story. Hopefully, it illustrates my complete satisfaction with Vinci and everyone involved with the company.
So my family likes to have birthday lists and Christmas lists sent out so we all know what someone wants. I PM'd escort because I put a new TJ on my birthday list and asked him if it was OK if a family member contacted him via email to order the glove (if they decided to get it for me). Of course, he had no problem with this whatsoever.
Unfortunately, they didn't get me the glove, but I did acquire enough money to buy one. escort to the rescue again. He sets me up with my order, for the 3rd time now, and slyly asks me what size shirt/jacket I wear. My glove shows up the next business day (sooooooooooo happy they're in Richmond!!! ) and low and behold there's an XL pull-over in the box. Name me another company that sends you a "birthday present" with your order?
Sadly, the XL didn't really fit my shoulders and chest. There wasn't much room for me to move my arms. escort even sent me a PM making sure it fit, so when I told him I was gonna offer it up on here to see if there was someone who wanted an XL but ordered an XXL and we could swap, he recommended just calling Vinci. So I did.
As soon as I said what I was calling about, the guy on the other end of the line knows my name, wishes me a happy belated birthday, and says that escort set all that up. Then he asks me if it fit. I explain to him why it really doesn't and that I wondered if I could exchange it. I asked what address I should ship my XL back to and was politely interrupted. "Why don't I just have an XXL sent out to you with a return shipping label for you to send the XL back? Unless that's too much trouble." Are you kidding? You just sent me a free gift and are paying shipping both ways for me to exchange it for a size that fits. Of course that works. I asked if they needed my shipping info again, and he says "Nope. I got it all right here. It'll go out today and you should receive it tomorrow." Oh, evidently I was talking to Pete the whole time.
So there you have it. Vinci is a fantastic company to deal with. Everyone I've spoken to has gone above and beyond to make sure "the customer" has been taken care of. I've never been more proud to support a company merely by using their quality product on the playing field.
Thank you, Team Vinci! You can't put a price on quality customer service.
