Delivery confirmation is alot easier. If you're not there to sign for the package the couple of times they'll attempt to deliver, they'll ship it back. Then you have to pay to ship it again.
You get delivery confirmation, it gets delivered, and if for some reason it disappears from your porch, oh well that's what insurance is for, which is cheaper also.

My money order hasn't yet arrived and you said you sent it 1st class mail last Friday. 1st class mail service nationwide is 1-3 business days. Wisconsin to Nebraska should not be taking 6 + days, even with the Monday holiday. If it is not in the mail tomorrow I am asking you to return my bat. The "issue" at the post office is something you can handle on your own, and if the money order magically appears after my bat has been sent back I will contact you and return it no questions asked.
It really sucks that it has come to this, but if you want to salvage any reputation on this board you will do the right thing and return my bat to me. I may be newer with less feedback but my reputation as a GTG board member means something to me. I am sorry it came to airing this for all to see but you created this string, see it through and do the right thing.

So...yes, OP should've got the shipping confirmation on his MO, but something sounds fishy here with you dude. OP, is obviously a bit off his rocker, but other than that...seems to have more g2g feedback than you. I can appreciate that your feedback means something to you as well, but your requesting MO's and not setting up a paypal is complete BS. You're kinda being a punk! And the fact that the dude has sent TWO mo's to you (presumably at the correct address) and you're saying that you haven't received either, seems a bit fishy on your part...IJS! It seems fishy, because you obviously have a computer or you wouldn't be on here, which means you could just as easily get paypal. Based on the previous 4-5 pages of info, you seem more likely to be a scammer than the dummy who just can't remember to get a shipping confirmation on his MO's. I have very little...like 3-4 feedback (all g2g) and I was smart enough as a "noob" to sign up for paypal, even though I'd never had it before, for this very reason.

Someone has to sign for the money order period with signature confirmation. You can't prove 100 percent that he got his money order with delivery confirmation. The USPS tracking system is horrible! At least no one signs for it, the OP gets his money order.

WHen you get the money orders you tear off the slip from the money order and keep it, then send the money order on its happy way. If the money orders are not cashed like you said the PO said they could see they had not been can't you just cancel money orders and get a refund?
I never knew PP was a requirement for this site. Have i learned a lesson in all this, yes! But if you noticed all of my feedback is on trades. This was my first (and probably only time considering) sale of a bat. I don't think me asking for a money order and I shipped first with next day service isn't fishy at all. And the other poster is correct, he checked with the post office and i have never cashed either of the 2 he allegedly sent, how can I cash what I never got?? Think about my position, and some of you have expierienced this also, you trade someone a bat and they use it, yet you have not been paid or the trade has not yet arrived almost a month later.....hell yes you would be as frustrated as I am.

I understand your frustration. like I said,if u want a pic from the second slip I tore off, I have it. I didn't keep the first one due to never having issues. I don't see how its my responsibility to make sure it gets there. I did everything with the lady at the front desk, after she puts it in the mail box, it isn't my problem. I also don't see y I should be out this money with nothing to show. the lady told me I have to wait 30 days before I can even think about getting my cash back. Bogus on their part yes, but I understand it. Idk what ill do yet cuz I'm not losing money here.

It is completely your responsibility till he gets what you sent him. If he doesn't get it........THAT'S on you!!
Yes you put it in the mail, yes it was sent, yes the circumstances are out of your control. BUT IT IS YOUR responsibility!!! The PO will eventually refund you. What does the buyer have? NO bat and NO money!

Nah...happens more often than you think. It takes a lot of decisions to make that list.
But back on topic, I hope you 2 get something worked out. I still wanna know why it took BML 2 weeks to ship psycho's bat.

I would absolutely be frustrated. I'm only saying that based on the story portrayed in this thread...some of the facts on your end sound a bit fishy. If they're not, they're not...but they seem that way from the outside looking in. No one EVER said PayPal was a REQUIREMENT, but that's exactly why it was created in the first place...to be an efficient, safe method of transferring money to 3rd parties. Regardless of whether it was a requirement or not...you should've used PayPal. I have never and would never do business with any bro, g2g or not, via anything but some guaranteed method of transacting business. Why would you want your money 3-4 days AFTER you've agreed to a deal anyway?

Apples and oranges. Dealing with an established company is completely different from some random guy off of a message board. While this community for the most part is awesome to deal with, I have had no problem shipping first to guys who have had more GTG's than myself.

It didn't take me two weeks to ship his bat. I shipped immediatly the next day, bats were MIA. I had been staying at the farm, went home and there they were in the cabinet with return to sender on them. 3 bats, 3 different guys. All 3 were sent out that same day I found them and all 3 r now delivered.
Would you please not attempt to sell the bat of mine you have not technically paid me for yet, and I have asked for in return if the money order does not arrive today in the mail ??..............
