I didn't like the change at first but now getting used to it. However some direction on where to find things now would be useful. Itrader (whatever its called now), how to find threads I have posted, how to now search, stuff like that.
We'll be happy to help. I just started a thread yesterday to highlight new features and some how-tos.
You can find it here: New Forum Features and How-To.

Can we now upload pics without photo bucket?
Yes you can. I just posted instructions here: Media - how to upload images.
We will continue updating it as we add new features.
If you have any other questions, just let us know.
Thanks.

Ok - I tried again - The link in my signature returns an error and a search for that thread says it wasn't found...

http://forums.softballfans.com/showthread.php?t=1358594

SO - Which threads are accessible and which were deleted or are not accessible???

We do have everything saved from the old forum. Nothing was deleted. XenForo just isn't able to see it all for the search function right now. It should all accessible again soon. Sorry for the delay.

Do you happen to know the name of the thread or approximately how old it is? Any info might help us resolve this issue.
Thanks.

In google, simply enter "site:softballfans.com Safety Practices" and it will spit out the link ... Of course, the link doesn't work - but you can use that format to look for any of the old threads... As I posted above, the thread # was 1358594 - The thread full name was, as in my link, "Safety Practices When Pitching"

Some how, the new system is going to have to convert the old address (of the thread) into the new address with the right format in the address bar...

=======================
So I did a little more exploring and research - Here's the new address that does indeed bring up that original thread:
http://forums.softballfans.com/index.php?threads/1358594

(the old address is: http://forums.softballfans.com/showthread.php?t=1358594)

THEREFORE - the system needs to reformat those requests formatted in the old "showthread" address format to the new "index" address format.... The thread ID# is apparently the same...

--- Now, I went and updated my signature with the functioning link address...

Thanks. We were able to fix most broken links in Google's index with some simple redirects.

Get rid of the chat bar!! Or make an option to hide it. It's especially annoying on the mobile site. Takes up precious screen!

Why doesn't the search function put posts in order of when posted? Searching for things in the sale forums and the first one on the list is from 2013 and then jumps all over the place. At least add a tab to sort posts by date.

^^^^You just have to click the box for search "most recent" instead of "relevance". Maybe SBF can change the default to most recent, which is what I imagine most want anyway.

Please add back the search feature for the forum you're already in. Now you have to the advanced search window and then scroll down the list to select the specific forum, which takes much longer. If this feature is still there and I'm just not seeing it, let me know where it is.

the search ****ing sucks donkey balls. it just gives results in no particular order that cannot be sorted. worthless

Exactly! I'm sick of having to hit advanced search everytime and then if I don't click the "Most Recent" box at the bottom it will take me on a crap shoot.

The default search box should search "Titles Only" and sort by "Most Recent"...not by whatever it is right now.
