MLB 2018: The Yankees buy a championship off of Amazon

What does that have to do with team salary, at all? The teams with low payrolls lose and lose consistently year over year, because of the inability to pay free agent talent. You're talking about the draft like amateurs become productive pros out of the gate like in the NFL and NBA, when that is almost never the case in baseball. Altuve signed at 16, he wasn't in the majors for 5 years, the **** does "draft order" have to do with anything? I swear to Christ you're better off not posting.

you're crying (about numerous other issues as well) about half of MLB not being competitive, but you fail to recognize the fact that many teams aren't really trying to be competitive. it's ok though, you're on a mission to get the Yankees to start signing top FA for the Orioles and so I understand.

the problem he needs to ***** about is the league makes sure these ****ty filler teams are still very profitable

they should have moved the P Nats to Orioles park instead of fredericksburg. Probably have a better chance to fill it up than the Os.

It's like a world where McDonald's is paying for the smaller local restaurants to stay in business. They're not being competitive because in the end, the handouts are still coming in. Other than the top 6 or so teams in payroll, no one really did much last off-season. Weren't Jake Arrieta, JD Martinez and a few other big names available all the way up to spring training?

The other formula that seems to work but not last is what the Astros, Royals, Cubs, Braves have recently done. Suck for so long, build a solid farm, sign 1-2 missing pieces and win a championship together.

The Dodgers are a disgrace, when did these antics of licking bats and over the top celebrations on the bases become acceptable?

you really shouldnt argue about things you obviously have no clue about. You try to seem like a smart guy but in reality u just spew out non factual crap to make you seem smart. then when someone puts actual facts out there you spin it into 5 page story...........do even know what the difference is between a big market and small market team? do you even watch baseball, do you know what a baseball is? and the phillies are in first , as the nationals are one of the worst teams in MLB. and the run differential is two worlds apart from last year. crazy what one person can do for a team, well except for the angels, they'll never be better then a .500 team

seriously, mid-May and the Twins have a top 3 record in baseball. the only question is how will they screw it up?

they took 3 of 4 against the Stros not long ago. i'm going with an injury to someone like Buxton coupled with a power slump across the board and finish by trading Berrios to a big market team.

in game one of yesterday's double header with the o's, chris davis made more than the entire starting lineup of the yankees, combined

this year twins reminds me of alot years of the orioles. they come out firing and fade real hard after the all-star break cause every arm is shot and in a sling........plus the only competition they have are the indians
