first game of the season for me with a slight foot problem. base was loaded, cut the ball sharply into a right center, ball carried a little too much. center fielder made a sliding catch... great play, but sucks for me.

I know it's a sign of respect, but I get a little irritated when I come to bat and somebody yells, "Anywhere" because nobody shifts. But Sunday I was 4-5 over 2 games hitting 10th and 11th and splitting playing time. 1st hit was to RC, 2nd was to LC, 3rd was several feet inside the RF line, and the last was 5" inside the LF line. The out was in my 3rd AB - a ground out to the SS between him and 2nd base, so kind of up the middle.

Deep shot to left field that the left fielder made an amazing jumping, juggling catch off the fence for an out. Guess I needed another foot of distance, I just wasn't man enough, ha!
