since it's slow in these parts, i'll jump in. obviously the bat testing and stickers aren't infallible, but at the least we're getting some of the hot bats out. personally i much prefer when the tester is there.

if anyone has a better idea i'd love to hear it. :thumb:

I do agree I like when the tester is there. and if you shave a bat and it passes I have no issue. no difference swinging a shaved bat that is at 240 or a broken in bat at 240 other than mine will last longer. or a well broken in bat that fails or a shaved bat that fails. no difference other than i will guarantee the broken in one that fails will have many more swings on it.

trying to see if those mush balls would go through roof....they haven't yet.

you think the DC 41 means Denny Crine? That 41 was put on there for me!

I want to say Ive seen someone actually hit a ball through the roof ****ing around with a real ball, but it could have just been 3 am & after a night of getting yelled at for my excellent umpiring skills

The Rookie
Looking To Play In Es***/Passaic/Bergen NJ Counties

Hey guys just moved to the area and looking to pick up on a team in north jersey on the weekends when the season starts. I'm a decent player, played ASA and Utrip league and tournaments on the west coast. Primarily an out fielder but can play wherever you need. Let me know if any of you have a spot on your team for the upcoming season. Can't wait to start the season this year.

Look up AA sports, it's ran by a guy named tony davino. Pretty sure they have a free agent section on their web site.

He's got leagues all over the GD place.

Couple guys in that area for sure on this board.
